The Seven Mile Beach is located on Jamaica’s western coast on the shores of Negril. It features golden sands, crystal clear water hugged by the curved arrangement of the town on the longest continuous stretch of beach on the island.
Negril was a sleepy fishing village with little development, it lacked many modern amenities such as electricity, telephone and hot running water. The beautiful little cliff side location was originally owned by a local doctor, the son of the first Governor General of independent Jamaica.
